Professor Yasinta Muzanila, who had served in the Department of Biosciences at the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, Sokoine University of Agriculture, was given a special farewell party at the Black & White Lounge in Morogoro. To celebrate her retirement, the event brought together staff from both the college and the School of Education.
Colleagues, and friends gathered to say goodbye to the retiring professor filled the atmosphere with excitement. It was a time for good food, drinks, and conversation at the party. People enjoyed sharing stories and memories, a big Solomon Mahlangu Campus (SMC) family.
The Black & White Lounge served as a lovely backdrop for the event, and the food and drinks were delicious. Sharing a meal together showed unity and appreciation for Professor Muzanila’s contributions, particularly in the various capacities in which she served at the college and the SMC.
People chatted and took photos as the evening progressed to capture the special moments. The event was heartwarming, honoring the professor’s long and successful career. As she begins her well-deserved retirement, Professor Muzanila’s legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of working with her.
