Mr. Jackson Lendoya Saiperaki is a Tutorial Assistant in Zoology at the Department of Biosciences, College of Natural and Applied sciences, Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania. As a Tutorial assistant, his duties include under-study senior members of academic staff by attending their lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practicals; carrying out and assisting senior staff in lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practicals for undergraduate programmes; assisting in research, consultancy, public service and advising undergraduate students. Saiperaki received his Bachelor of Science with Education (Agriculture and Biology) at the Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science with Education (Biology) at the Sokoine University of Agriculture and researching the genetic structure of farmed and wild fish stocks in the Kilombero Valley Floodplain (KVFP) and its implications for fisheries management. His research is funded by the Sokoine University of Agriculture Research and Innovation Support (SUARIS) through the Conservation of Endemic Fishes (COEF) project.
