The Department of Informatics and Information Technology (DIIT) has reason to celebrate as it secures top positions in both website ranking and publication excellence. In the first quarter of 2023 university-wide website ranking, the department’s website claimed the top spot in the category of “Best Academic Department Website”. The department website and ranked 6th out of 67 websites in the “Best Overall Website Ranking” category, which includes college, departments, centres, directorates, and units websites.
Moreover, the department’s staff publications competed in the university-wide publication ranking, where they secured the second position, surpassing many of the university’s oldest and most renowned departments in research. The young and vibrant department’s tireless efforts in research and publications have undoubtedly played a significant role in achieving this remarkable feat.
