The Head of the Department of Informatics and Information Technology (DIIT) is pleased to announce that Mr George Firmin Kavishe, from the department, has successfully defended his doctoral thesis on June 28, 2024. Mr. Kavishe did his research at the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. The title of his PhD thesis was “Recordkeeping for Good Governance in Tanzanian Public Universities.”
