Academic Profile

Farian Ishengoma is a lecturer in Tanzania’s Sokoine University of Agriculture’s Department of Informatics and Information Technology. Dr. Ishengoma pursued a Doctorate in Internet of things (Wireless Intelligent Sensor network) at the African Centre of Excellence in Internet of Things at the University of Rwanda in Rwanda. He possesses a master’s degree in communication systems engineering from Anna University in India and a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from St. Joseph University in Tanzania.

Teaching Subjects and Research Interests

Dr. Ishengoma has over seven years of experience teaching at a university. His broad range of scientific interests include computer vision, digital agriculture, and wireless sensor networks.

Among the disciplines he teaches are Telecommunication Systems and Network Management, Digital circuit, Computer Networks, and Distributed Systems.
