Academic Profile

Wulystan Pius Mtega is an Associate Professor of Information Science. He holds PhD. in Information Science, Master’s degree in Information Studies, BSc. Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness and a Diploma in Education.

Teaching Subjects and Research Interests

Mtega works in areas related to agricultural knowledge management systems, digitization of smallholder businesses and data management. He has written several publications in agricultural knowledge management systems, data management, Information and Communication Technologies in teaching and learning and social digital transformation. He teaches Knowledge Management Systems, Records Management and Information and Communication Management.
